The Los Angeles & Pacific should be Los Angeles Pacific. LAP bought the line from California Southern(ATSF). See [www.erha.org]

Makes sense that the ATSF would have a bunkhouse there because at the time, that line was the farthest west on the system. Later ATSF built down to Redondo Beach, and then in the 1920s to Wilmington.
