As trivia, John Seaborn who's mentioned in connection with the
Engle is the person who purchased SP's four retired M-K TE70-4S "Sulzer Popsicle" units, with the intention of reselling the prime movers for marine use.
Like the
Engle, efforts to preserve one or more of them were unsuccessful and they were cut up for scrap at their longterm storage site at the former General Electric facility in East Oakland in 2007 or thereabouts, with the pieces trucked to the aptly-named Alco Iron & Metals in San Leandro for processing.
