Dr. Z here is a 1931 aerial photograph detail from the University of Santa Barbara. It shows where the tracks from the Santa Fe went into Del Monte. I don't know if the building that has a spur on the Santa Fe side of the street was Del Monte. Anyways, it might be that Del Monte built over the track where the ATSF came in. There is a lot more stuff on the plant site later including pipes and stuff crossing the Santa Fe side of that connection. But it was there in the 30's at least. Topographic maps aren't incredibly accurate on this stuff so I prefer to look to the areal photos.
