To be pedantic, it's a Caltrans-owned car. The JPA is the operator, not the equipment owner. Still, yes, cab cars are a limited resource and it'll certainly be fixed if at all possible.

The pic of the inside of the cab was pretty nasty-looking. I'm glad everybody got out OK. Hopefully NTSB can sort out how the car got on the tracks; appears nobody was in it when the FD got there.
