The abandonment of this former Northern Pacific line between Renton & Snohomish is an Opportunity Lost for Commuter Rail in Puget Sound. Heavy or Light Rail would have been a sure winner, as the line parallels Interstate 405, the most congested freeway in Washington State. At least the locals can revel in their Bike Trail while sitting in traffic.
