Actually I did read it and it listed a loading site in San Antonio. That's about 75miles away.I am not familiar with Texas or UP's operations there. That's why I asked if there was a ramp near Austin. I enjoy Altamont Press because readers like you are more knowledgable about certain aspects of railroading or have knowledge about locations I have never been to. I could look up every question myself about railroading but not always find or share the answer. If you start at the top of this thread and read down the subject changed from Tesla building cars without rail service to, Tesla never uses rail to, Tesla uses rail a lot and loads out of Milpitas. Throw in some opinions and I learned quite a bit .Thanks to all who replied.
