No joke! Difficult to say exactly who started things off, but the first public info about the acquisition efforts came from Soloviev & Colorado Pacific/CXR/Kanagri.

Interesting that CXR wants the line to facilitate westbound export grain shipments, while RGP wants to facilitate eastbound crude oil movement from the Uintah Basin to southern US refineries.

I've suggested to both parties that they could combine efforts through joint operations on a CXR-TP routing..
