NP East side line questions

I have spent a couple days in Maltby for work, the first I have ever spent much time there. After the BN Merger, did this line immediately get cut back to Snohomish / Bromart? If not, how long did it remain intact to Burlington? Also what is the grade climbing from Woodinville to Maltby? It looks fairly steep.
