Currently being used by the UP. They haven't moved into their new yard office yet.

However, the former SP Fresno depot, also built of unreinforced masonry, was preserved and put to new uses, so I don't think this is an insurmountable obstacle (the Fresno depot is comparable in size to the Bakersfield depot. Both were built in 1889).
