The error between except and expect can be chalked up to a simple overlooked spelling error.
What was much more glaring to me is that she didn't understand grade separations. She thinks traffic will stop every time a train comes through town. She got it backward. Ironically the increased CALTRAIN service she wants will increase traffic issues due to the current at-grade crossings in Morgan Hill.
I do agree that the grade separated CAHSR will cut Morgan Hill in half with little benefit for the local residents. Assuming that they are going to parallel the current tracks, the only benefit to Morgan Hill residents would be the grade separation over the current tracks. A lot of private property will have to be condemned and taken over to make it work.
