KCS definitely has agreed to this, as far as it's gone. Both railroads have put together a web site for the process. Yes, there's a long way to go, including approval of STB among others. But unlike some other recent mergers of parallels, this one is an end-to-end merger, so it might not be seen as being as likely to cause competition problems as others. We'll see, as the man said...
