Math:

$4 trillion dollar road project that we supposedly need.

Over ten years, that is $0.4 trillion / year.

The US GDP is $21 trillion.

So this road project we supposedly need will spend 1.9% of US GDP every year.

There should be serious vetting before anything like that is approved.
