While my project was not as grandiose, I started in 8th grade restoring a Model A Ford that had sat outside on my folks' resort since 1954--in fact, as a 3-4 year-old I used the front fenders as a slide. I still managed to have a high school girl friend (for a while, anyway) and was able to drive it to my High School Graduation--not finished, but drive-able. Took another 2 years to finish the car after that. Still have it; technically I am only the second owner. Yes, got married, had a life, and made a living restoring cars for a while even. So, I wish him well, but with such a large project, he needs to create an organization to manage it. It is definitely a worthy project.
