I will have to read up on how bankruptcy works.

After IPH liquidates, those who are owed money will get a pittance and it's tough luck for them, right?

I'm looking at those "investor notes" above. I could see investing in the Permian Basin shortline. But I certainly would NOT gamble on a Pullman passenger train. I wonder what those "investor notes" were for.
