Just weeks ago, WA state lawmakers passed several significant tax increases including a carbon
cap and tax plan aimed at businesses, gas tax increase and fuel standards changes that state
lawmakers say will increase fuel costs by at least 55 cents a gallon and significant racial
equity standards for government and business. It is unlikely that many new businesses will
continue to show interest in locating in Washington State if Governor signs all these changes as he is expected to do.
