The job numbers sound like pie-in-the-sky pipe dreams pulled out of his ass. Exaggerating the "What could be" to show how valuable the rail line is and how Clark County and the state should be forking over money to subsidies it. Claiming to have spend 10 Million in the line is dubious as well. Even at the current quoted 800 cars per year.

PVJR has operating the line for approx. 17 years 2003-2020. 17*800=13,600 car loads(being extremely generous here).

For Eric Temple to claim that "the PVJR has invested over $10 million to modernize the short line railroad." That would be $10,000,000/13,600= OVER $735 per carload. Perhaps State or Local money and/or Grants have invested 10 Million dollars into the line, but certainly the representation that PVJR has invested that money themselves should have made you simultaneously spit milk out of your nose and fart at the same time.

If your business is ran needing a subsidy and handout to survive I guess mis-leading the public and exaggerating every detail is necessary.

Maybe it would be best if the breach of contract lawsuit allows Clark County to find a new operator.
