Oh the Democrats are much more devious than that.

Republicans tend to be older than Democrats.
Older people tend to vote more than younger people.
Older people tend to have many more fatalities from Covid-19 than young people.
They have managed to convince many Republican leaders that vaccination is a plot.
Their leaders have convinced almost 50% of Republican males not to take the vaccine.
Odds improve for the Democrats in the next election.
