My professional opinion is that this would not work, since the sides of the container act as a deep beam to give it the ability to span between the box's corners. The floor structure by itself would be very weak. Also, it is worth noting that the overall width of a cargo box is only 8', which is on the narrow side for an auto bridge, especially if you were to add guardrails.
