Rail passenger service is not the issue, we could use a first world system serving the key interuban corridor, with significant populaton centers on line. Jenner can fly in a charter from Van Nuys, and if this is the best he can come up with.... He's no Ahnold....

Now, as to the wonderful economic impacts of the gold plated runaway money train that is billions over budget and years behind schedule.... Let me get this straight, they only have a total of 1,116 on all job sites?

And, are those other "trade jobs" that were "created" "unemployed", or is Streets blog confusing the employhment multiplier from this meager employment base?

I was really unimpressed, given the scale of the costs and cost overruns for this gold plated fiasco.
