Hate to be the one that says "works for me" - but what you're probably running into is that some (a growing number of) web sites refuse to open in the context of the calling web site. If you right click and open in a new tab or window, it usually works. For instance, for the lead item, neither bbc.com nor elpasonic.com allow their pages to be opened in trainnews' context, which trainnews tries to do. Both work fine if opened in a new tab (in Firefox).
