Anyone with an interest in the Great Northern Railway or Glacier National Park has probably seen Fred Kiser’s hand-colored photographs and postcards. This newly released 96-page Color & B&W 11 x 8.5 coffee table style softcover book highlights Fred Kiser and his revolutionary hand-colored photos used in Great Northern advertisements for decades.

I published this book as a tribute to Fred Kiser - who brought color to Glacier National Park in the age of black and white. As you browse its pages you will find the subject and scenes of Glacier Park to be timeless.

Note: You may be wondering, why I released 2 books so close to each other? The Kiser Book was scheduled for release now. Montana Rails was to be released a year ago but was postponed by Arcadia Publishing due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
