If someone needs an engine block they might be good for that. Hard to hurt a block. I've seen several that have had their "California Cuts" repaired. Shhhh, don't tell anyone.
Otherwise I'm certain the Meth-head copper thieves have had their way with them. These days
even some latches and other hardware might be worth salvaging --- some of that stuff is getting hard to find.
