That's a whole lot of money for a toilet. I wonder where they find find the water to flush that much cash? Or maybe that will be part of the infrastructure and equity package?

It really makes you question how much the Bakersfield to LAUPT section is going to end up costing? At least if they got over/through the mountains that would been a usable segment for passenger even if nothing else was completed.

Maybe the Del Mar bluffs bypass should be built first as a preview?
