You would think some planning would have gone into this back when they "rearranged" Elko and got all the trains off the street? Why not a well lit underpass or a securely gated pedestrian crossing. Certainly common sense and muggings can't be that big of a problem in Elko yet? Seems this arrangement has existed for at least 25 years?
