Bulk as noted goes out mostly in short 2 bay hoppers which are taken to a regional facility to be bagged. Few producers bag at the point of manufacture. Clinkers from cement plants get ground up on site, as are those shipped in from coal fired power plants. The Lehigh Heidleberg Calaveras plant at Mountain Gate, north of Redding, is a major supplier to NorCal and many times larger than the Nevada Cement plant.
