I guess some of you have no idea what fire & heat does to steel.
I think to whole deck system would have to be replaced. Also nobody knows what shape the towers are in and how much heat they got.
I always thought the bridge just east of Hotlum was the "Hotlum Bridge".
I was told the one you wanted to watch was the "Dry Creek" bridge. That is the one that drains the Hotlum Glacier. You can see water in it most of the time and a lot of mud & water goes right on down to flood or block Highway 97. You can see the old RofW and supports where that bridge has been replaced many times. It can go from a little creek to a roaring river in less that an hour.
Most of my books and info are in storage until August. That is unless one of the fires get us first. Last year we were only a block away on a level 1 but made it thru with the old garden hose and 2 fire trucks up the street.
