Last year and this year someone (the UP?) logged what appears to be the full right of way between Eugene and Oakridge in Oregon, specifically from Minnow to Crale. The latest work has been to bulldoze a firebreak one cat blade wide on both sides of the cleared right of way. If this was the UP causing the work is not known to me. If there are plans to do other places also I do not know. It seems that work like this in advance of any fire at the Dry Creek Trestle might have alleviated much of the damage. Jeff
