I agree that the GGRM move was a big mistake. But there were personalities involved "read we are better than they" that pretty much made getting along impossible. And that was on both sides of the equation. I don't see that personality thing in the PLA/2479 relationship. Some of the personalities are now deceased while others are out of the picture. I think the best thing for the GGRM is to work out a lease with the wine train folks and the later can use the 2472 and the three commute cars they bought in Washington for the wine train the profits from which will fund the GGRM. I wish GGRM all the success in the world and I really, truly hope things work out for them. I'd hate to see the 2472 go to that age of steam roundhouse in Ohio or someplace like that while the rest of the collection goes to auction.
