Come on Clem? What happened to that "price in no object" "sputit" when fleecing the taxpayers out of billions for the bloated gold plated "runaway money train" that meets almonst none of our actual rail passenger travel needs in CA....?

The CHSRA is still hell bent on buying a whole bunch of super high speed trainsets, in order to use up the money, to justify the next steps of wasting even more taxpayer money, in order to keep the giant taxpayer funded ponzi scheme going... At least, as of the last press release...

I have no problem with Clem's new more rational thinking about the "runaway money train"s. But, it almost makes for too much good sense..... Which is why I predict that the CAHSRA will only continue to waste more and more taxpayer money, and use more and more taxpayer money to lobby the public and elected officials, to try to keep this contractor's wet dream alive...
