If they ever worked the line then they have a good idea of the ROW and it's nature. They live in the area, they have a resident level of understanding.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the commuter rail proposal is doomed to fail. Santa Cruz just isn't that big, there aren't enough jobs centered within walking distance. Where in the US is there a successful comparable system? Albuquerque is 4 times as large and its ridership is a huge failure.

Foamers be mad. Stick your fingers in your ears and scream "Brian!" over and over. Dream of your unicorn farts railroad.
