Hear, hear, Bob. I had to laugh at your mention of Facebook.

Facebook seems designed to extract the dumbest, shot-from-the-hip reactions from people. It's actually VERY eye opening to see how dumb and easy to manipulate the American masses are, just by reading comments in Facebook.

Not surprisingly, FB has been used effectively by some as a propaganda tool. Even in some railroad history groups in FB, I find some people trying to steer people towards a certain version of history that they prefer.
