Look at a map. The closest the track gets to the town of Moab is several miles away where they load the radioactive mine tailings.

If they ran all the way to Potash that would be neat and I would sign up. Maybe they could announce that they will do that on a specific date so interested parties could be aboard. Other trips could go only as far as Seven Mile and the average John Q. Public passenger would probably be happy because they could be bused to the hotel that much faster.
Also, since I'm budget minded, I'd like to do a truncated option that would allow origination or termination in Glenwood Springs. One can view the Denver-Glenwood Springs segment on Amtrak for a fraction of the cost.
