Meanwhile, the economics of electrification were also studied by that "class" of "elites" at the Southern Pacific into the sixties and early seventies.... And, these "elites" have even built electrified lines like Black Mesa, in spite of Mouse's clearly superior economic and engineering findings....

That makes a lot of sense for DRGW to have looked at.... And, now full circle we are going to be ordering a lot of dual powered Siemens locomotives, for interoperability on electrified and non electrified segments without needing to change out power.
