Bigger isn't always better.... A parable for modern times.... This popped up on my Youtube feed.... Enjoy a good laugh....

This is why it is more important to design complex engineering solutions to fit the most efficient economic design solution (not the "biggest", or "most powerful", or the most "politically visionary"), even on a "gubmint" (and, a very evil one indeed, in this case) RR....

The history of the 4-14-4 locomotive.....
