UP appears to be ahead of their 9-1 target of reopening the Hotlum trestle. Also, UP just might be negotiating with CORP to send possibly one train of empty cars over the former SP Sick-of-you curvy, tunnely and too steep line.

Also, it appears that both BNSF and UP have a couple or more trestles/bridges and track damage from the fires. Still waiting for more reports as access is still heavily restricted and neither railroad is saying much...yet.
