Yes, there were some police who let the terrorists into the Capitol. However, other police were physically attacked, some severely.

During the January 6 insurrection, 140 officers were still injured, some seriously.
As far as the "crooked Main Stream Media," was the Main Stream Media crooked when it reported that many very conservative Republican representatives and Senators won their races in November? I tell you what, if all of these lawmakers announced that the reporting on their elections was fabricated by the media and they all resign, then I will believe what you say about the media.
There are a lot of posts with links to articles about the cost overruns, schedule delays and other problems with the California High-Speed rail project. Yet no one ever posts any comments implying that the Main Stream Media is misinforming the public about the project.
Sometimes things happen that do not support your view of the world and the main stream and specialty media report it. Grow up and deal with it.
