No updates on the #30, still sitting about where it has been for the last several decades. And yes, while there could have been potential for pellets, the plant described in the EIR document was going to be getting all inbound materials by truck, including pellets. Nestle came into McCloud with a very anti rail attitude, apparently they’d been burned so many times elsewhere that they had no intentions of relying on rail for any part of that project. The Dannon plant in the old P&M sawmill site in Mt Shasta City never used rail for anything while they were running, and the Crystal Geyser plant in Weed has a rail spur off of CORP but I get the impression they’ve rarely used it.
