Several years ago, I was looking at railroad stocks, and CSX crawled to the top of the pile as being undervalued - or rather, the others were overvalued and I wouldn't be able to afford more than a share or 2. It struggled along treading water and moving slightly upstream. Then Hunter Harrison arrived and everybody wanted the stock. His coattails still seem to be working. At the end of June, the stock split 3:1 so it's affordable again.
