Rio Grand Caboose on Peninsula

Lately there has been a Rio Grand wide-vision copula caboose on the UP Mission Bay/Broadway LR???? lately. Other than the spray paint puke on it, it is still is in original Rio Grand paint. Went by too fast yesterday (about 6pm Menlo Park) to get a good pic. Anyone know if its staying around, whats it's for? Shoving platform for a long reverse move somewhere?
