I doubt ST bought the Interbay Roundhouse since it is off any ST LR lines and currently maintenance happens at King Street.
ST did buy or obtain some BNSF land in Bellevue for a yard. That happened in 2014 though. There have been a couple of Google items pop up recently without dates that imply this just happened.
That might be where some confusion came from. According to the 2014 story, construction was to start last year.
