Our plate was G57 387 on our 56 Int. S-130. My grandfather purchased it brand new from Butts Buick in Santa Barbara. It was on the ranch in Goleta until the early 70s when it went to my place in Atascadero. It came with the 1 ton package that had duels, a twin ram dump bed and a spreader gate. I got the origional "Build" ticket from Al Pancake. He worked for International in the records department. It was International Orange, like it had been ordered as a state truck.
I rebuilt it in Eagle Point Oregon around 2012, complete with new felt and kept the 6 volt system. My son-in-law has it in Paso Robles and also has a 56 truck plate on it along with the G57 387 plate with the steel tab.
Oh, I know this is supposed to be "Railroad". I used that truck to bring meat, beer and other supplies to the BLE (Engineers) BBQ at Cuesta Park in San Luis Obispo for years.
