Retired SP San Joaquin Division engineer Jack Gee

I'm sure many folks here on AP who worked on SP's San Joaquin and Los Angeles divisions remember Engineer and RFE Jack Gee. (I first met him when he was firing for John Simpson on 99-98-76-75 in the mid-1960's.)

It was reported tonight on the 'Southern Pacific Survivors' Facebook page that he passed away today (Friday) at the age of 94.

He was a great guy, and well respected.

Old timers might remember that he was the engineer on the infamous and unofficial "Last Run of the Alco PA's" on Number 51, and was jokingly known as the "PA Killer" after that. (It wasn't his fault. They were on their last legs, anyway.)
