Possibly at Russ in Soledad Canyon. The geographic west end of the Russ siding was widely separated from the main line as seen at 2:19 in the movie (as viewed on You Tube) and as seen in a 1960 topographic map at [ngmdb.usgs.gov]

On the Santa Clarita Valley History in Pictures website, a local resident recalled how Elvis Presley stayed at the Circle J Ranch (a guest ranch) near Newhall during the filming of the movie, which tends to support some of the filming being done in nearby Soledad Canyon.
