There was an Amtrak Conductor in LA who originally came from the Santa Fe named Dennis Lennon. When he would work Trains 3 and 4, he would get to Ash Hill and smile and say, "You know when you are at Ash Hill, because you go up Ash Hill slow and come down Ash Hill fast!!"
