Well, they knew best and implemented it, and then about 20 years later scrapped it and went back to the oddball system they have up there now - a cross between DTC and CTC.

I also like the mention of everybody shouting “UP yours” to show their newly-found UP pride. I don’t think Snakebites would fly today if it were still published. There are too many snitches and yes-men in the ranks nowadays. Plus the corporations like to be more aware of what their employees post online about them now. There are generally special departments that monitor social media and discussion forums and assign discipline accordingly.
