Wholeheartedly agree we should restore overnight LA-Bay Area-SAC service. As to the amenities, yes, all night food beverage, not formal dinner, but yes legit breakfasts.
What I had said sometime back as my vision involves a train starting from SAC w/ at least one slumbercoach priced sleeper, another hauled by Caltrain from SF to be added at SJ, and sufficient coaches. If it could be arranged, ai least one coach should also come from SF.
I envision the "cafe" as having an espresso machine, a small galley so that actual non microwave food could be offered.
