Be a REAL railroader and throw a fusee in it!

A friend ran into the same problem on the Boise City Sub in southeastern Colorado, on a 1% grade with a loaded coal train. They tried to keep moving, but stalled. Those "dry" tumbleweeds are quite slippery. Anyway, when the train finally stalled, the headlight caught the mess on fire. All they had to do was release the brakes and the train rolled backwards out of it.
