I was merely trying to explain to "Thurston" that writing a grant does not automatically mean funding comes to an applicant.

You claim that you can explain why my "prop" went to the circular file. So many applications went to the circular file - can you explain why they were rejected, too?

This may be beyond your comprehension, but since 2013. the grants I've written have generated $43.6 million in federal, state & local funding for my employer with another $8.2 million in federal funding receiving preliminary approval.
