The switch is not at the Perris depot and never will be.
The (already built and sitting in storage) switch will be located south of the depot close to 11th street. (when it is installed)
The museum will not need a switch to serve their pocket track at the depot platform/ward kimball transit center. The pocket track is on its own ROW.
For a time, the museum was going to move their YM office to the depot.
SCAX has no weekend service, so there is not much fire(if any) to finish the pocket track/switch(connecting to the ptc scax main with added paper work tasks) project.
I won't go into the politics that has to do with the delay (and needs a diaper!).
I miss D. Brown very much!
South of Mapes extension and rebuilding District 2 (and 1 for that matter!) are way more important for the museum than the pocket at this point!
These days, the museum does not have enough help to even finish the tie project.
Dump the whole balcony!
