Um . . . I don't mean to undermine the seriousness of fücking with railroad signal systems, but just how is a shunt going to derail a train? There was a young dude in my town 35 years ago who had a shunt, and he just used it to make the crossings go down. Unless they had express knowledge of how to hot wire signal boxes, I don't see how they are going to do anything but turn a signal red, fail safe. Maybe their intention was to derail a train, but I hear nothing to convince me they knew what they were doing to the point they could derail a train.
